FAQ
What we getasked most.
If you don't see your case here, contact us and we'll get back to you in less than 24 hours.
01Which files do you accept for 3D modeling and printing?
We work with STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ, 3MF, DXF and DWG; you can upload them directly in the contact form (up to 5 files of 100 MB each). If you have a different format, we can convert it to one of these standards first.
02What tolerances can you hold?
It depends on the process and material: on select prototypes we achieve ±0.1–0.2 mm. For production or critical parts, we validate with metrology.
03Can you sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement)?
Yes. Confidentiality is a priority. We can sign your NDA or provide our own before receiving files or sensitive information.
04What are your typical lead times?
For most prototypes, 24–72 hours. For simulation projects or production runs, lead time is defined after assessing complexity and materials.
05Which 3D printing processes do you offer?
Mainly FDM, SLA and SLS. We choose the process based on the intended use, mechanical properties, finish and budget.
06Do you offer post-processing and finishing?
Yes: curing, sanding, painting, sealing, threaded inserts and assembly. Tell us the end use and the expected appearance so we can recommend the right workflow.
07Do you do reverse engineering and 3D scanning?
Yes. We digitize parts, repair meshes, generate surfaces and deliver CAD models ready for modification and manufacturing.
08Do you simulate (FEA/CFD) before manufacturing?
Yes. We use FEA for stresses and deformations, and CFD for flow and heat transfer. This reduces iterations and risk before manufacturing.
09How do you quote a project?
Send us your files and requirements—material, quantity, timeline and finish. We assess the scope and return a quote with estimated lead times within 24 business hours or less.
10Who owns the intellectual property?
The design belongs to the client. We use it solely to manufacture, simulate and perform the quality checks agreed upon for the project.
11Which PDM / PLM platforms do you work with?
We are an independent consultancy: we do not represent any vendor. We work with Autodesk Vault and Fusion Manage, PTC Windchill, SOLIDWORKS PDM / 3DEXPERIENCE and Siemens Teamcenter, and we help you implement, migrate or integrate the system that best fits your operation.
